I don't know much about movie, but let me speak my opinion. You speak too high of it ^^;
Please don't be offended! It's only my humble opinion! And I tended to relate un-related things

The Na'vi reminds me of something else, I tried to remember it, but only in the middle of the movie a revelation cross my mind. It's not the Andalite (from Animorphs), but Kimahri the Ronso from Final Fantasy X!































Indeed, so many parts of the movie reminded me of FF. Ah, the nostalgia...

Don't tell me you've never seen that hair-tail!

The Flying jellyfish... guess Cameron combined the underwater view and fantasy (it still reminded me to FF.. :p see pireflies)

Oh, the dragon?
I must admit that the bond thing between the horse/dragon and the rider is quite original. But still, the dragon reminded me of Eragorn's concept. And guess what I found next? Those beautiful wings..... ~\/~

The story itself, it's nothing new, but still nice ^,^
The graphic is great (but.. still, nothing new for me), and I'm a bit tired to spent 3 hours in the theatre to watch it o.o
So I'll give it 3,5 of 5 stars

Semester Terakhir di Malory Towers

Ini buku favoritku sepanjang masa..
Kelas Tiga di Mallory Towers adalah salah satu novel pertama yang kubaca.. waktu itu aku yang polos nan lugu ini bahkan nggak sadar kalau Darrel itu nama cewek! setelah baca beberapa halaman barulah.. "Cewek yah?"
Tahun berapa ya itu.. kelas 2-3 SD barangkali :/

Waktu itu aku juga nggak tahu kalau buku ini berseri :P
baru selesai mengumpulkan 6 buku (in random order) beberapa tahun setelahnya..

Serial ini mengisahkan kehidupan sekolah berasrama Darrel dan teman-temannya di Mallory Towers. Kayaknya menyenangkan banget,, bercanda dengan teman, mengerjai guru-guru, menyelinap malam-malam... seru banget kan?
Mereka juga mendapat bermacam-macam masalah seperti kawan yang mengesalkan atau ujian dan pekerjaan rumah yang sulit, tapi semuanya selalu berakhir dengan baik..

Semua karakter dalam buku ini menarik ^^
Ada Darrel yang 'biasa' dibanding teman-temannya-kecuali kalau ia meledak marah-, Sally yang sabar, Irene si Jenius yang linglung, Belinda soulmate-nya, Alicia yang jahil, Bill si tomboy yang fanatik pada kuda, juga guru-guru yang galak tapi penyayang :D

Aku sering mengasosiasikan diri dengan Darrel. Sewaktu dia marah besar, dan setelahnya ia merasa bersalah dan minta maaf, kupikir dari situlah aku mulai belajar untuk minta maaf dengan baik dan tanpa malu-malu.

Buku favoritku di seri ini, buku kelima. Di Buku kelima mereka mementaskan drama Cinderela yang sangat sukses dan semua orang dapat memainkan perannya dengan baik. Beberapa anak bahkan menemukan bakat mereka yang tersembunyi. Buku ini juga mengilhamiku untuk masuk klub drama ^^

Nah, sekarang buku-buku ini dicetak ulang lho, dengan harga 20 ribu saja D:
pengennya~~~~ tapi udah punya sih... :(
Apa nunggu keluar box-nya aja ya, hehehe...
